Quick-Drying All-Season Expanding Foam

Quick-drying polyurethane foam for gun application or handheld use (with the included nozzle). Can be used at temperatures down to -10°C. Designed for sealing and insulation in houses, boats, caravans, etc. Suitable for gaps between frames/walls, walls/floors, roofs, and around pipe penetrations. The cured product is odorless and emits low emissions. The foam provides effective thermal and sound insulation.

Substrate and Work Description

Before use, the work surface should be cleaned of dust, loose particles, grease, and oil. Adheres to most building materials (even damp ones), but not to polyethylene, silicone, or Teflon/PTFE. Avoid greasy and dusty surfaces. Upon application, the foam expands significantly and forms a semi-hard filling foam. The foam cures quickly under the influence of humidity or surrounding material, so it should be applied in a way that allows free expansion. A slight surface moisture increases foam volume and speeds up curing.

Instructions for Use: Shake the container before starting. Attach the gun/nozzle to the container and gently press the trigger to fill the tube with foam. NOTE! The container should be stored at a minimum of +5°C before use and turned upside down during application. Lightly moisten the surfaces with water. Fill the joint to about 40-50% (gun), 30-40% (nozzle). Foam volume increases if surfaces are slightly moistened. Cut away excess foam after curing. The foam is tack-free after about 12 minutes and can be worked on after about 30 minutes. Fully cured after about 12 hours. Cleaning: Acetone for uncured foam, mechanically for cured foam. Clean the foam gun with Bostik Foam Gun Cleaner.
